As a global leader in home furnishings, IKEA aimed to enter the IoT space with its vision for smart home technology—enhancing everyday life for the many people. I was part of the frog team that was brought on board to help design and develop the IKEA Home smart 1 app. The IKEA Home smart ecosystem included hardware such as lights, blinds, remotes, motion sensors, power outlets, air purifiers, speakers, and a central gateway, along with software to seamlessly control these devices.
